  • R.O.H.A.N.: The Vengeance is set to launch tomorrow in Southeast Asia
  • It’ll see the R.O.H.A.N. franchise arrive complete with in-game events and rewards
  • The Aesir, the 9th playable race, are also set to debut as part of this launch

While it’s tempting to only look at major releases like World of Warcraft in terms of being a long-running MMORPG, across the world there’re other examples of major multiplay releases with almost the same pedigree. Such is the case with the upcoming R.O.H.A.N.: The Vengeance which is set to hit mobile in Southeast Asia on March 18th, yes tomorrow!

While in many aspects R.O.H.A.N.: The Vengeance is pretty familiar in terms of gameplay to many other MMORPGs, one of the most interesting mechanics is the titular ability to perform Vengeances on other players. Essentially you get a short PvP window in which to go after those who’ve taken you out and get some revenge!

It’s an interesting mechanic, and one that complements the reputation that R.O.H.A.N. has built as an alternative franchise to other major RPGs out there; and the fact that it’s coming to the multiplayer powerhouse that is Southeast Asia is already making headlines.

R.O.H.A.N. is a long-running franchise, and the MMORPG in particular has had quite the tenure. SEA publisher Playwith Thailand seem eager to push it hard and has planned a bevvy of events and rewards for players alongside a high-profile promotional campaign with all manner of community content creators.

Additionally, this version will feature the 9th playable race to be added with the demigod-like Aesir. So for SEA fans who’ve been patiently awaiting the launch of R.O.H.A.N. in their region this very much may be worth the wait.

In the meantime though, if you’re looking to see what other options there are out there for playing MMORPGs on mobile, why not dig into our list of the top 7 games like World of Warcraft and see where we’ve ranked some of the best open, massively multiplayer games out there on iOS and Android?
