PlayStation’s The Last of Us Part 2 system requirements have been revealed for the game’s long-awaited PC port. After the horrid launch of the first game’s remake’s PC port, Naughty Dog and PlayStation have firmly claimed that the game will perform well not just on high-end PCs but also Valve’s nifty Steam Deck.
While the PS5 remake of the first game struggles on the handheld-that-could, PlayStation is confident that the remaster of the PS4 sequel on PC will perform quite well. With a swathe of graphical options that should allow the game to run perfectly fine on most handheld PCs.
Last of US Part 2 PC system requirements
With PlayStation’s PC port of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered has some very reasonable system requirements for a modern release. With the minimum requirements only asking for an AMD Ryzen 3 1300X and a GTX 1650, the game should run pretty damn well on the Steam Deck’s 800P screen.
Here are the Last of Us Part 2 system requirements:

PlayStation claims the new PC port will allow for “the best possible experience on hardware ranging from high-end PCs to handheld gaming devices”. With other AAA games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows also crafting support for Valve’s handheld, it’s clear that awesome device still has years of life left.
With the massive success of the Steam Deck causing Valve to invest more in “the future of hardware” at the company, a more powerful system is definitely in the works. While Valve won’t be releasing a tonne of hardware revisions as they’re still waiting for a massive generation leap, a true upgrade is in development at the company. Let’s just hope they can count to three with this project.
Right now, The Last of Us Part 2 is the last game in the series. While Naughty Dog has changed tact to its new franchise Intergalactic, there are still rumblings of a third game that will move away from Ellie to tell a brand-new story.
